See the colors and visions that fill my head...
At a young age Addison Moon found herself fascinated with the art of songwriting. She began writing songs at age 13 and released an album of original music at age 17. The ten-track album (Eleanor Evermore) was released with former musical partner Ryan Hawkins. Addison has been seen playing small venues and countless charity events western New York as well as multiple venues in Chicago including the House of Blues. She has played at the Great Blue Heron festival for three consecutive years, including features in the songwriter’s circle as well as opening for headlining act, Donna the Buffalo. One of the most significant shows Moon played was the Sunset Series on Presque Isle were there were over 2,000 people in attendance.
Currently, Addison is working toward a degree in songwriting and music production at SUNY Purchase. She hopes to change the way people listen to bluegrass music with her signature "desert rock" style and her charming presence. Addison intends on releasing her third album with Jesse Melito of Woodside Productions, NYC, in May of 2017.
With gold-top Washburn in hand and backed by her three-piece band, she will blow you away.
